The ultra low powered data collection platform developed by RailSense for remotely monitoring track voiding and temperature is readily adaptable for measuring other parameters, essentially anything that can be measured with an electronic sensor.

RailSense can support both commercial and open-source integration of third party monitoring and analytics platforms, including tools from Microsoft, Google and IBM.

The raw data collected by the RailSense system is transmitted via the mobile data network and stored in a cloud-based server.
We provide access to the data in several ways depending on customer requirements, this can be in the form of periodic reports e.g. weekly, monthly etc. and customised to your needs, including range of values, measurement units, interval and resolution. Or if preferable we can manage the data for you.
RailSense technicians carry out automated analysis on the collected data on behalf of the customer, which can include the generation of custom alerts for example, in the case of excess rail temperature or excess voiding when a pre-determined level is exceeded.
